Blue Monday 2017
On Monday 16th January in the street the SU organised some fun activities to cheer students up. Activities included promoting Glow Sports where students could play badminton, volleyball and tag rugby with equipment that glows. A balloon modeller was also a big hit with students, making all things from balloon giraffes to princesses. However, the most popular attraction was the adorable animal display arranged by the SU. Students could come in and experience holding a rabbit, guinea pig, hedgehog or a puppy! The students could also talk to the supervisors of the animals to learn more about them and ask questions. Overall the day was a complete success, with students taking part during lunchtime and sticking their reason to be cheerful on the wall in exchange for a free hot chocolate!
