On Friday 24th March 2017, the Students' Union sold official pin badges and wristbands and even invited a storm trooper along! SU officers went around the College so students and staff could make donations to Red Nose Day. A volunteer student opted to join the officers dressed as a storm trooper, taking pictures with students and encouraging people to donate what they could. The Sports Development team also organised Yo Street Zone to come into the College to raise money. This event was held in the street on Wednesday 22nd March and students could volunteer to challenge either of the visitors or each other. Overall, £176.56 was raised for Red Nose Day.
